LOUDER+PROUDER was the biggest, and most complex, exhibition The Brunswick Art Gallery has had to date. With a selection of work from artists within the LGBTQ community, we not only wanted to showcase talent but also felt the need to display a diversity of skills, crafts, techniques, disciplines and ideas. In so doing lithography, screenprinting, super heroines, oil painting, muscle men, illustration, drag queens, photography, digital manipulation, mixed media, collage, pool boys, live dance, space men, original music, video, diamond dust, ice creams and poetry all became a part of this wonderful mix of artists and images.

So, we give a big thank you to Gavin Dobson, Jenny BM, Omer Ga'ash, Villain, Stuart Forrester, Rin Coppola and Joey Collins, for bringing all of this to The Brunswick Art Gallery and LOUDER+PROUDER 2022.

And we couldn’t have done any of this without all of you who came along to visit the gallery! Who came to see the exhibition, to all those who shared their thoughts and their ‘likes' with us. Thank yous go out to all who came along to Omer's amazing evening of dance and music and video, ‘SYMBIOTIC BODY TERRAIN’, and of course, to those of you at ART FUSION, who watched Jenny create ‘Utopian Love Stories’, to the mesmerising music of James Vargas. Thank you all for supporting us!
