Like a painting, his work is built up with many layers. His photographs are worked and reworked over a long period of time and one original piece may have started out as over 100 individual photographs. Light exposure is nurtured and tended, guided and directed with the resultant unique (1/1) artworks shining with a level of authenticity usually only achieved by observing a subject directly and over a period of time.
