As a follow on to my successful ice lolly range. A nod to summer, to pop art and sadly to global warming due to human activity.
Gavin’s screen prints often depict colourful, nostalgic images. Iconic designs which he hopes invite an opening for conversation. As a painter who takes their work into screen printing it's very important for Gavin that the textures, drips and strokes are apparent, so the negative space surrounding his artwork is important in both keeping the piece fresh and contemporary and to celebrate that chosen object.
